Twilight

Twilight crawls
Across your smile
A rim of gold
Shining like a dead summer night
To begin the occluded dance that will
Play forever, behind your eyes

That color will haunt me
Through my dreams
Those eyes will make me, will break me
I know now
That I live in the wake of something less austere
Something less than ordinary
Have I become
Have I become?

Twilight crawls across me
Through the dead waves of heat
That which, one between the other will make us more
I can taste those eyes, that twilight, as I sleep

And the thunder rolls it's way through the darkness.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Severin, in the year 129 MA.
