Am I ?

Written by: Silver Willow, Gwendolyn De'vyen, Amid Ocean's Depths
Date: Thursday, April 29th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone

I am as the moon
Shift, wax and wane
Glowing and mysterious,
Pale and shimmering

Let me be the sun,
Bright and life bringing,
Mother and comfort,
Scorn and great pain

Feel me in the grass,
Soft, tender and swaying
Light dance and expanse,
Trampled and broken

Hollow like a cave,
Warm, silent and dark,
Waiting for knowledge,
Room such for all

Such like a breeze,
Careless, wild and free,
Thorough feet, ragged wings,
Whispering in your ear.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Midautumn, in the year 127 MA.
