I gave up forever to love you
As I thought that you loved me somehow.
I lived for your closeness in all that I was
If I'd lived I'd be wanting you now.

All that I loved was your spirit.
You were all I could hope for in life.
But suddenly it was all over
And you left me to be someone's wife.

I don't want to hear from the others,
For it's clear that they can't understand.
When the source of your bliss betrays you,
You can finally see where love stands.

The future's a painful reminder
Of the hopes that were slain in your past.
When there's anguish in moments eternal
Then you know how long love's torment lasts.

And I don't want to hear from you, Sapience.
For there are few that can understand.
When all that you've loved has betrayed you,
Then you'll finally know where I stand.
Yes you'll finally know where I stand.
You'll finally know where I stand.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Arios, in the year 127 MA.
