Masquerade

In shadows cast, where secrets weave,
A mask conceals, but Light believes.
A face adorned with crafted grace,
Illuminating truth, a radiant embrace.

Behind the veil, where shadows play,
The Light persists, in gentle sway.
A masquerade where beams betray,
Concealing not, but lighting the way.

A painted smile, a glow serene,
A mask that lets the soul be seen.
In the dance of life, where shadows glean,
The Light reveals, a truth serene.

Yet, in the masquerade we wear,
The Light shines through with tender care.
For masks may shield, but can't compare,
To the brilliance of the Light we share.

So, don the mask, let Light impart,
A canvas painted from the heart.
In shadows, find a brand-new start,
A dance of masks, with Light as art.

Penned by my hand on Closday, the 3rd of Chakros, in the year 2 AC.
