Autumn's Harvest

Bow before to the season's wrath,
As leaves transform in fiery hues,
Nature's tapestry ignites the path,
A symphony of crimson and gold ensues.

Gone are the days of summer's blaze,
Autumn's chill creeps into the air,
A warning to all who dare to disobey,
Embrace the change, or prepare to despair.

The trees stand tall in their eerie might,
Their branches reaching like skeletal hands,
Whispering secrets in the fading light,
Beware, for autumn's power commands.

The wind howls with a menacing roar,
Carrying the scent of impending change,
Leaves dance and swirl, a tempest's lore,
Foretelling nature's dominance, rearranged.

So, heed the call of autumn's decree,
Marvel at its majesty, but beware,
For within its beauty, a warning you see,
Challenge its might, and chaos will ensnare.

Embrace the season's ominous delight,
Respect its power, or face the consequence,
Autumn's reign, fierce and bold, takes flight,
A force to reckon with, no pretense.

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 25th of Lanosian, in the year 509 MA.
