Epigram III

Written by: Achlos

A word of caution, I should say:
Beware to he who marks the day
From night, despite his humble voice.
I feel the anger in his choice
To challenge me to do his task,
For I am not the one to ask
If you do not want something done!
I'll do his job, and have the fun
He lacks in making statements terse:
I'll do the same, but weave in verse.

Yet I am not a thoughtless kind,
And I am not yet of a mind
To take the bread from out his hand,
So if you see this, understand
That you can keep your job for now,
And I will simply take my bow.
But you should add in flair, you see:
A *joyful* bellman you could be!

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 10th of Haernos, in the year 505 MA.
