Where We Tread

Written by: Knight Finid Gallant, the Wild Rose
Date: Saturday, April 9th, 2022
Addressed to: Everyone

Sometimes we put our foot on the ground
Other times we put our foot in our mouth
Sometimes we put a foot as a short distance to tread
Other times we are a foot out of the grave ere we are dead

Sometimes we put a food in the rear
Of one who lazily procrastinates
Sometimes we foot a bill for a dinner
Especially if we have a very cheap date

The wonderful thing about a foot
Is that we have ones upon ground to tread
Whether a lifetime of battle, a cheap date
Or praying that our foot will keep us from being dead

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 17th of Slyphian, in the year 501 MA.
