A Rhyme of Snapping Spines
`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`

Snap, crack, severed spines,
Vertebrae falling out of line.

Facets and ligamentum deep,
Do between my fingers creep.

Joints and cords pulled to and fro,
Where, oh where, will the neck go?

Blood is gushing, painting red,
The bones I grind to make my bread.

Spineless, lifeless, so bestowed,
The emptiness of your torso.

Penned by my hand on Kinsday, the 25th of Slyphian, in the year 456 MA.
