First Kiss of the Night

Tendrils of darkness sweep my feet as they stalk through the quiet
night.
The rhythm of life, and blood within my sight.
The small fleeting heart comes to rest within my arms.
Childish intent not meaning to harm.
Finding my lips upon tender flesh while hard the lure enticing charms.
Looking up from the first kiss of death. Horrid screams come to light.
Seeing the monster within the eyes of another's fright.
I understand my place and gruesome plight .
I have become the monster and I love it.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Haernos, in the year 347 MA.
