In pursuit of fire, a potentially dangerous quest..
The licking flames can burn, but I am oft obsessed.
So entrancing is the light, I find healing in its heat..
It is within its fury, which my vow mustn't retreat!

I know this inferno, from whence it was borne..
Consumed in its centre, I know I was reborn.
From simply a half, I was made whole..
And its burn has forever branded my soul.

I shall don this marking, through every motion..
Through words, actions, belief and emotion.
So with quill to parchment and a sweet kiss..
Trust in me, and my renewed Emblazoned Promise.
