I gave my heart to you, my perfect dove.
Within your eyes the shadow cannot stay;
Dance with me unto the end of love.

When we rose with reticence whereof
Passions chains took wings and flew away;
I gave my heart to you, my perfect dove.

Within your arms is poetry undreamed of;
Listen to our song, and feel its gentle sway.
Dance with me unto the end of love.

Amid the falling snow, suggestive of
A thousand stars that shine through skies of grey,
I gave my heart to you, my perfect dove.

Within your lips, a gentle flame thereof
Bids me come to you, and I obey.
Dance with me unto the end of love.

Between us faith and passion interwove
A white hot fire that shapes our souls like clay.
I gave my heart to you, my perfect dove,
Dance with me unto the end of love.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Chakros, in the year 235 MA.
