It weighs me down by and by shackling me here
Mulish self pity for my melodramatic destruction
Too soon forgotten and too late for recognition
Sinking in the sands that consume us all
Resolutions with me taking resignation in the weight
Wishing and seeing myself mired and immovable
When do our stubborn hearts and bullheaded minds end?
Each havoc wreaked upon my life gluttonized and suckled by it
Simple means could cross the bridges and let me go from my pit
Foolish pride and guilt
Such useless emotions in the face of change and happiness
The means is always within our own hands
Each stuck body empowered to free themselves
While still we bury deeper and cry inside with abandonment
Abandonment self wrought.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Arios, in the year 147 MA.
