Sleepy eyes

Written by: Slyphian Priestess Gwendolyn De'vyen, Wind in the Willows

Fogging my mind and hollowed memories
Such steady breaths seep through me as I myself seep
Slip inside to search these files for those thoughts
Settling more across my eyes
I try to see your smile yet it already feels gone
Slipping, sleeping ever seeping
Steady my breaths from any tears
Please dont let the tears fall
Lost again in the darkened woods
Lips spewing more miasma as I call out
Each metered mist sweeping me back
To such dreams of your laughter
Then where am I now
Steady breaths slow more to calm my spirits
Thinking, only dreaming of you
Smothering myself in hazy sleep

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Midsummer, in the year 136 MA.
