Wishful Sleeping

Written by: Kit Nicnevin, Cub of Syliana

I'm feeling pretty knackered
I can't even remember the date
Another word is shattered, to describe I'm done staying up late
It's one o'clock in the morning
How the night has passed me by
I feel like I am auto-yawning
I'm so tired I think I could cry
I turn over and over in bed
Yet still something keeps me awake
Is it that throbbing pain at the back of my head?
My legs, arms, feet, back, darn, they all seem to ache
My eyelids begin to droop
And my head it starts to spin
My thoughts finish the 100th loop
And suddenly its the sleep I am deep in

(Just a little fun poem I wrote...)

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Niuran, in the year 135 MA.
