My first poem for display

MY ADDICTION TO SORROW

Your fractured senses,
And your false skin tares me,
through the chest and deep into my soul,
Your scented words blind me,
and your severed kiss burns my lips,
Your touch confuses me,
And makes me wish for tears,

I watch you sleep soundly,
As I wish to shake you awake,
you cuddle up to my pillow,
As I watch with jealous eyes,

I once believed in your love,
And now more then ever I feel doubt,
I can't tell how long I can hold this from you,
These secrets rack my brains and dry my tongue,

I feel an intense heat,
As my hands shake,
My breath is deep,
but fast,
WAKE UP!
My will shakes the room as my body shudders,
Why won't you wake up!?
I know you will not wake up,
I am the coward who's afraid,
for you,
for me,

Vimes Ehre,

Message me with comments 😛 -grin- They are welcome

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Khepary, in the year 134 MA.
