Like coloured glass, not quite the true version of what we see
Tinting the way the world is viewed
Trying to see what has been blocked as all takes on the so same hue
Is this tainted view better then reality?
Lying to ourselves about what we feel
We may rose tint the world for self denial
Convincing ourselves of our emotions through thought and not experience
Will always be easier then facing the facts
Laugh and smile and pleasantly joke
Despite the pain that wells inside
Who are you really easing with concealing your emotions?
What truths are not spoken, painful, rude or beautiful
Least in our minds to our inner selves
Will only further decay our reprieve
For what is true in our minds
Is true in our lives

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Chakros, in the year 134 MA.
