Poetry News Post #1015

To the "anonymous" admirer

Written by: Grand Duke Thurren, Mot Neno of Niuri
Date: Friday, July 16th, 2004
Addressed to: Everyone

You think that you are clever
You think that you are swift.
You think you'll just show up again
And tether my heart that drifts.

Despite all your precautions
Despite all of your grace
You paint a picture so obvious
That even a blind man could trace.

But nevertheless I admire it
And nevertheless you I miss
So muster your speed and your guile,
Catch me and my lips you may kiss.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Haernos, in the year 133 MA.
