I'm sorry guys, but am I the only one who thinks that this section of
the newsboard is insanely creepy. For all I know, every single one of
you are sixty years, retired postal workers who have children chained to
things in their basement. All joking aside though, I would like to
recommend that you put some serious, serious, thought before you invite
anyone to meet you in the non computer world. I would suggest that you
at least attempt e-mail or some sort of instant messaging device before
you post your address or telephone number. If you are under eighteen
just don't, and if you are over eighteen remember there are some really
creepy people out there, I'll send you news articles to prove it if you
message me, and you don't want to put yourself in a situation were
something unpleasant could happen to you.

I'm not trying to be insulting or obnoxious but I don't want to read
about somone going ahead and scalping you because they thought they were
"Creepydude, the Troll Vampire." This doesn't just apply to Aetolia
either. If your mother has not told you yet then let me do so: do not
post any personal information about yourself on the internet and if you
do so then you are taking a very real risk with your own personal
safety. Remember, there is no filtration system whatsoever on who is
able to create an Aetolian character and any character can read these
postings. As Sigmund Freud would advocate, people are on the whole
bundles of evil desires and sexual tendencies barely held in place by
the conscious. I would not trust my life and bodily safety to someone
who I have never actually seen their true conscious.

In a seperate note, if any of you adminstrators are reading this I would
seriously suggest some sort of warning and disclaimer before allowing
people to post in the meet board. And, since you have all our birthdays,
I would suggest not allowing people under eighteen to do it at all. You
are, in my humble and more or less uneducated to the laws of internet
crime opinion, taking a very real moral if not legal responsibility for
compromising the safety of your participants by allowing such a forum. I
would take a moment and consider whether this is something you want on
your conscious if it were to lead to tragedy. It will be very easy to
remove it once something happens and you're front page news, but it
takes a much greater social responsibility to remove it now.

If anyone has a problem with this then send me a message and I will be
happy to explain it to you. If anyone thinks that I personally insulted
them, send me a message and I will be happy to appologize to you, for it
was not my intent. If anyone is just really angry at my audacity and
sense of moral indignation and just wants to yell at me and complain,
then send me a message and I will be happy to read it. However, I will
have no knowledge of this in any other medium as it is my policy to have
complete ignorance of otherworldly matters.
