On the 13th of Midautumn 110, Qeddwyn began telling the tale of the
Second Ankyrean War. Though quite involved in its details, a few major
points were revealed. Most notably was that Zsarachnor and Belladona
were once Ankyreans who underwent a ritual to pervert themselves to live
seemingly forever.

The war destroyed the Ankyrean Order completely, and at its finale
Severn brought the Grand Artifice down upon the world, ending the Second
Mortal Epoch.
