Early in the summer of 465MA, the Packmoot of wereshifters convened an impromptu session to discuss an interesting matter. Traces of strange new smells and stranger dreams had been sensed in and around the Fengard swamps, and after the traditional vociferous argument amongst the moot leaders, the shifters of Sapience were asked to investigate.
Aymah of Duiran was the first to come across the hidden village of Sradha-worshipping Tsol'aa within the Dromse Thicket, and soon enough a crowd had gathered in the tiny settlement to speak to the terrified and hostile wereravens living there. Despite threatening posturing by Trikal of Spinesreach and the bloody murder that followed at the hands of the ravens, Maithan, the leader of the Thicket, agreed to visit with the moot if it meant his people could be left alone.
The discussion that followed was harsh and laden with tension, and in the end, Maithan and his flock refused to join the moot. A compromise was reached, however, and he promised to share the knowledge of the wereraven form with worthy visitors, and to speak with the moot leaders on the raven's method of avoiding the shifter madness.
