Updates

Addressed to: Everyone

It is Monday, the 14th of September, and the following changes have been implemented:

- Xaanhal's descriptions have been updated to show that there aren't actually Xorani still living there.

- Fixed a bunch of typos in various hunting trees.

- The base trumpet design now uses brass instead of gold and silver for its required components.

- The orgyuk population seems to have finally turned back around, and there are plenty more to be found in the tundra now!

- (IDEA 9180) You can now wear two functional scabbards, each holding a sword or dagger. Sometimes one just isn't enough!
* SECURE <weapon> SCABBARD [<scabbard>] lets you choose where to sheathe it. Leaving off the scabbard will use the first empty one.
* WIELD <weapon> [LEFT|RIGHT] SCABBARD [<scabbard>] lets you draw from a specific scabbard. QUICKWIELD swaps will return each replaced weapon to the scabbard its replacement came from.
* The older SCABBARD SHEATHE and SCABBARD DRAW commands still work, with optional INTO <scabbard> and FROM <scabbard> respectively.

- (IDEA 5756) Built-in emotes that refer to your feet will now use hooves if you are a Minotaur, including through heritage. This also takes the target's anatomy into account where appropriate.

- (IDEA 7361) You can now use SACRIFICE STATUS with your sacrificial dagger to check its Divine recipient, your total offerings, and your offerings since the last reset.

- (IDEA 5480) CITY REWARDS is now available to help cities keep track of their reward points!
* CITY REWARDS STATUS and CITY REWARDS LOG show your balance and history.
* Ministers, members of the ruling council, and the city leader can check other accounts and use CITY REWARDS ADD <points> <person> <reason> to award points.
* Members of the ruling council and the city leader can use CITY REWARDS REMOVE <points> <person> <reason> to deduct them.
* Balances CAN go below zero. Leaving or being expelled from a city resets your balance, including any debt, while keeping the history for your city's officers.
* Your city still decides how points are earned and redeemed. This just handles the bookkeeping!

- (IDEA 5998) TELLSOFF <reason> now lets you explain why you cannot receive tells. For example, TELLSOFF exterminating werecats.
* TELLSOFF SHOW previews your response, and TELLSOFF RESET restores the default. Neither changes whether your tells are on or off.
* Your reason is saved until reset, including through TELLSON and logging out. Reasons can be up to 200 characters long.

- (IDEA 9983) You can now TURN PAGE to silently read the next page of the book or journal you were last reading. This also works with library books and the librarylink artifact.

- (IDEA 7092) Having an accessible bathtub now lets you SCRUB.

- (IDEA 9928) Retiring your character now vacates your city positions immediately.

- (IDEA 8906) You can now add @season to your custom prompt to display Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter.

- (IDEA 9815) EVENTS is now an assignable privilege for guild positions and Order ranks, allowing trusted members to manage their organization's events. Order members with this privilege can also manage events for their Congregation.

- (IDEA 9866) There is now a deposit box outside of Xoral's southern entrance where you may deposit 10,000 gold to become unenemied.

- (IDEA 8170) You can now use CUSTOMIZE NEW RELIC <relic> to customize the appearance and examined description of acquired relics that you can display on attire, such as horns. Some extra flair for your extra bits!
* Set both APPEARANCE and EXAMINED, then SUBMIT for the usual approval process. These cost 25 iron coins.
* CUSTOMIZE <id> APPLY switches between approved descriptions for free; RELEASE restores the original. Your RELIC <relic> ATTIRE remains independently editable.
* LOOK <person> <relic> and EXAMINE <person> <relic> show the approved customised description while the relic is displayed and visible. Use its original name, e.g. LOOK SIBATTI HORNS.
* Type cannot be changed.

- (IDEA 9743) ARTICALL ALL now leaves artifacts you're already wearing in place. You can still ARTICALL <item> explicitly when you want to recall a particular worn artifact.

- (IDEA 6667) Voxes now work with foreign-language tells! Your chosen vox and language will both appear, including expressions if your fob supports them. People who don't understand the language will still hear the usual gibberish.

- (IDEA 8611) SPARE has been added to the Weaponry skillset. Use SPARE <person> to privately resolve to spare their next eligible defeat within one real-time hour, preventing your next killing blow against them. Refer to the AB file for more information.

- (IDEA 7616) You can now save up to ten racial skill layouts with RACESKILL MEMORIZE AS <name>!
* RACESKILL REMEMBERED lists your layouts, SHOW <name> displays one, and FORGET <name> removes it.
* RACESKILL RESTORE <name> replaces your selections while in your own Haven, including regeneration. You'll still need the required unlocks and enough slots; an invalid layout leaves your current selections alone.

- (IDEA 6675) A personally-owned antiquated gauntlet now lets you absorb ylem mist independently of city membership or research, including on Albedos.

- (IDEA 4920) GIVE and DROP now check appended emotes before moving your items. A malformed emote will give you an error instead of silently going ahead with the action.
* You can also PREVIEW GIVE <arguments> [<emote>] and PREVIEW DROP <arguments> [<emote>] to check the perspectives before committing.
* Forms that don't support appended emotes, such as giving gold or giving to mobiles, will also now ask you to remove the emote before proceeding.

- (IDEA 9926) You can now ARENAWATCH <fighter> from any arena stand to watch an active Chaos horn duel. The usual spectator assessment commands work on its participants, and EXIT returns you to your original stands.

- (IDEA 9951) COMPENDIUM CONTENTS now shows Dedicated: <used>/<total> for each chapter, making it easier to see where your pages have gone.

- (IDEA 545) CLAN PRIVS now shows clan heads their inherited privileges and a separate list of head-only commands, including the applicable settings and leadership powers.

- (IDEA 3504) ABDICATE now lets you step down from a city or guild office without having to invite a contest first.
* Use ABDICATE to list your eligible offices, then ABDICATE CITY|GUILD <position> to review exactly what you'll relinquish.
* Existing elections keep their other candidates, votes and deadlines.
* Departures are logged and announced to news where applicable.

- (IDEA 5204) TRADEIN <item> should now handles artifacts, promotional items, relic pieces, etc all in one place. Existing trade-in commands still work.

- (IDEA 3466) The transparent_sight artifact power now lets you STARGAZE through cloud cover while wearing it.
