Hey folks,
I've altered the weapon damage formula a bit to now include a static component to the amount of damage a weapon deals. Previously, a weapon would deal damage purely based upon your max health, such as say 10% of your max health. Now the formula has been altered, and it will deal something like 7% + 300. This will help a bit with the complaints that weapons tend to do a bit too much damage, providing you have gathered yourself a lot of extra health.
This may need further adjustments along the line, which speaking of...
Earlier on I fixed a bug where block chance success wasn't including bonuses from your stance (see CHANGELOG 1646). Unfortunately this was making LSB/ASB a bit too potent, so I've put forward a few tweaks.
- Lowered Armblock and Legblock limb damage to 8%, down from 12.5%
- Lowered the base chance of Armblock and Legblock to 10%, down from 15%.
- Lowered block chance bonus of Rat stance to +10%, down from +15%.
- Lowered block chance bonus of Dragon stance to +15%, down from +20%.
That's it for now!
