FORGING
-------------------
- Forging steps are as follows:
- FORGE FOR <item>
- FORGE
- REFINE (See below for more options)
- You will not have to repeat each step over and over. This means
forging is _much_ faster.
- The forging hammer will increase the maximum stats you can get on a
weapon or armour by 5%.
- The forging hammer will also give a greater chance to get higher
stats.
- You can now REFINE FOR <damage|tohit|speed|blunt|cutting>. This does
not mean the other stats will be bad, or that even the stat you
refine for will be really good. All it does is increase the chance of
improving that stat.
- Weapon and armour stats would only ever be even numbers. I have fixed
that so you will start seeing odd numbers as well. Not really a big
change, but there you go.
- I have decided to put arrows in woodcrafting rather then forging. In
case you are wondering why I have not added them. This is not in yet
it will be done when I do the woodcraft liaison.
- I have slightly increased the stats you will get for Full Plate.
I have done extensive testing of this by forging thousands of items. The
stats are all the same as what is produced now. With the exception that
the hammer and the refine command can sometime deal out some pretty good
stats. However, if you notice any problem please email me with the
details.
