Reanimation Beta

Written by: Tydeus, the Parity

As Reanimation is nearly completion in a technical sense, and in a
design sense is very difficult to make progress on without any
large-scale testing, we have decided to release a "beta" version of the
system soon.

For those of you who don't know, Reanimation is the system of curing
that will eventually replace herbs, elixirs, salves and pipes for the
undead. As you can imagine, it is difficult to create and balance an
entirely new curing system in one swoop, against the current one that
was iterated over years.

It is for these reasons that we are going to open the beta, and allow
the current undead to test it while still retaining the use of the
normal curing system for now. We will periodically enable and disable
the system (or parts of the system) in cases of abuse or larger tweaks.
We hope to bring the design and workings of the system to a finished
point with your help and feedback.

This overlap period will also serve as a chance for all undead players
to become accustomed to, and train themselves to use, the Reanimation
system for curing, as eventually the Concoctions-based curing will cease
to function for them.

I will be posting more announces, and help files, as we get closer to
the beta release.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Lanosian, in the year 200 MA.
