This month was a very tough one to judge, as I felt we got a lot of good
submissions, but I'm afraid the nature of the competition is that it's
only harder if there are other quality entries. Consequently, the top
spot this time was extremely difficult to decide, as there can be only
one winner.

The choices for winner came down to two submissions, the submission "The
Orcs' Ambush in Dun Fortress" by Khristianyr (here:
http://www.aetolia.com/irex/artbard/view.php?id=00000196) and the
submission "Master of Polyargos" by Phendegwen (here:
http://www.aetolia.com/irex/artbard/view.php?id=00000192). I spent quite
a long time simply considering these two entries, and they both receive
3 points on the website despite the fact that I can't award the winner
title to both people.

In the end despite the extremely professional and detailed style of the
other submission, I picked the one I did because it somehow felt more
Aetolian to me. Nonetheless, I re-iterate that they were both excellent
and any other month either of them would have received the winner spot
without question.
