Some of you may have been experiencing unusual lag recently, I just
wanted to let you all know that we're aware of it and it's being taken
care of. Essentially the extra latency is due to a problem in the
central IRE firewall/router, and though there's nothing we specifically
can do about it, the CTO of Iron Realms has been informed and is looking
into it.

On a related note, there was some downtime scheduled for this week,
sometime after 18:00 GMT tomorrow (2nd August) for all the games (one by
one) for maintenance and some slight upgrades. However, this time may
well be pushed back due to the latency issue being investigated and
resolved as that may involve downtime as well and we'd rather do it all
at once to reduce the actual time we're offline.

I'll let you know as soon as we know more about when the downtime is
going to be, or how the latency issue is going.
