Just to confirm for all of you:

You cannot email artifacts@aetolia to upgrade your weapon artifacts to a
higher level weapon. You *MUST* trade them in completely. This hasn't in
the past, but does now include artifact bows and dirks.

Now, this does not mean artifact weapon modifiers, like asp and
cutting_power. You can just add those.

Example: I cannot email/message Belakai to trade in my level 2 dagger
for a level 3 dagger. I must trade it in using the directions in HELP
ARTIFACTS, and I will only get back 2/3 of the total value of the
weapon.

I cannot email/message Belakai to add asp to my level 2 dagger. Well,
you can, but you don't have to. That's because Qeddwyn can help you do
that, and he's far more interesting to talk to than I am.

P.S. While we are on the topic, armour is the exact same way as weapons.
Do not email/message us to trade it in. You must trade in the entire
value of the armour.
