TEKURA
- Kipup no longer requires balance to use.
- Kipup will now take equilibrium, rather then balance.
- Most forms of unsuccessful movement should not cause you to lose
stance anymore. For example, when fear tries to move you when you
are off balance.
- Palmstrike will additionally cause bleeding damage and dizziness.
- If you are guarding and parrying at the same time you will no longer
'guard' if holding a weapon, you will parry.
- There was some question if avoidance played a role in reducing
backbreaker damage. It does not, and has not.
- Slightly reduced the mana drain for blocks.
TELEPATHY
- Being deaf will no longer block mind command.
- Mind Crush will do more damage if you have the player locked.
- There is now a general room message when a player blackout ends.
- Mind locking a player in the same room with you will take less
time.
KAIDO
- Projectiles does effect your chance of getting hit by sling bullets.
It has always worked this way.
- Projectiles will now reduce the chance of being hit by any items that
are THROWn at you. This includes sentinel axes.
GENERAL
- The restoration will now work much differently. In the past, you
could apply restoration before you took limb damage. When the
restoration healed a few seconds later, it would heal any damage
that was taken in the meantime. It will no longer do that. At most,
it will heal what damage was taken at the point the salve was
applied. In addition, the amount of damage healed will be modified
by your current health. The lower your health, the less limb damage
that will be healed. In most cases, this will not be a big deal,
unless you apply restoration with very low health.
- If you have two broken legs, you will fall over if you do not quickly
heal them.
- You may now APPLY MENDING TO <RIGHT|LEFT> <ARM|LEG>.
- You may now APPLY RESTORATION TO <RIGHT|LEFT> <ARM|LEG>.
NOTE
I was considering a few other changes, including the addition of a new
skill. I have decided to wait. Some of these changes could be fairly
significant in combat, so we will wait to see how things play out. If
you like the changes, let me know, if you do not like the changes, it
is all Belakai's fault.
Penned by my hand on the 9th of Khepary, in the year 180 MA.
