A few months ago, I had written a post indicating on the leaders board
that some guilds had unreasonable requirements for people to get out of
novicehood. While I haven't been looking intently to make sure there was
complete compliance to the guidelines I said, I will be talking with the
patrons of the guilds that are still having problems.
However, one specific requirement I want to point out to everyone. You
cannot force someone to take you as their mentor. If I catch wind of it,
I will remove your mentor privileges. I have received a few complaints
that guild enforced mentoring has led to people getting horrible mentors
when they would have been much better served with a mentor possibly from
a different class.
