I've gotten a couple of questions about this, so I thought I'd post
officially:

Wings of the Atavian and the wings of the eagle have the following
restrictions: You cannot use them indoors, and you cannot use them if
you have vertigo.

The new amulets have the following restrictions: You cannot use them
flying or in the trees, and you cannot use them if you have
claustrophobia.

The new amulets go to similar locations as the wings did, but not
exactly the same ones. Some are still the same, like North of Trees and
Outside the Cave. The city exits are in different locations near their
respective cities. The other exits are mostly exits into indoor rooms.
The rooms you go to are indoors themselves.
