At this point I'm just a goof

I've decided to spend all of my good will at once.

Ylem costs for keeping up research tree upgrades have been increased by 10%. They were balanced before the mines existed.

Death costs in experience have been altered. Firstly, there was some leftover math that may or may not have intentionally made death absurd. By fixing that, death got more painful. I've also changed a lot of how it works. Anyway, death is now more like:

As before, 14%ish when you die
Around level 79, a cap is instituted. This cap is roughly 14% of level 78. This comes to roughly 1% at level 99.
The cap remains until level 100, from that point on death will be 1% forever.
PvP has 2.5x the cap.

In summary

Death | PvE Loss | PvP Loss
----------------------------------------
Below 78 | Roughly 14%| Roughly 14%
78 | 14% | 14%
80 | ~9.4% | ~14%
90 | ~3.6% | ~8.8%
99 | 1% | ~2.2%
100 | 1% | 2%

Yeah, that looks complicated. Tough! It's really not, but that would show too much behind the curtain if I explained more.

Now, as for the bugs... well, let's just say that you've been losing about 1% of what you were SUPPOSED to lose to death. Sometimes. I don't think this will cause death to be 100x worse, but in certain edge cases, maybe

Sect has the old PvP cap, btw. Not going to disadvantage them!

ps. I do still love you all, though. I'll be watching to see how this pans out.

Penned by my hand on Closday, the 1st of Severin, in the year 472 MA.
