Org Requests

I've just released a new system for org leaders to communicate directly
with Razmael and me: OrgRequests. Guildmasters, cityleaders and House
heads are now able to submit OOC requests directly to the two of us for
consideration and response. Other Immortals, including your
organization's Patron, will be involved in the discussion process, but
the response you receive will ultimately be the official decision.
This change has two main goals:
1) To eliminate (or at least severely reduce) the potential for "missed
connections." It's incredibly easy to miss messages and emails or put
them on the back-burner and forget about them later. These requests will
nag us VIGOROUSLY until we respond to them.
2) To ensure that org leaders have a way to ask for things and receive
feedback without negating the role of the Patron. The process usually
goes Leader -> Patron (stops here if Patron is inactive) -> Admin
approval -> Patron -> Admin assistance -> Patron -> Eventually Leader?
Communication breakdowns are almost inevitable. With this unified
interface, there's no excuse not to keep everyone up to speed. It's a
way for us to hear you better, and a way for you to hold us accountable
very directly.
While only org leaders may submit these requests, the average citizen or
guildmember still serves a role: Suggest things to your leaders. We can
add you as a "watcher" on a request, giving you the ability to see
what's going on and add your comments to the debate. This maintains a
very clear chain of command but keeps everyone involved who needs to be.
Much of this (and more) is covered in HELP ORGREQ, and I'll put together
a forum thread for your questions and feedback.
