Centenarians

Today is an auspicious occasion; the very first citizens ever to roam
our lands celebrate their 100th birthdays this day! Eighty-two Aetolian
years and nearly three real years ago, the first adventurers left Loom
Island and set out to seek fame and fortune in Aetolia.

Of those born in the year 35 of the Midnight Age, an incredible 54 are
still alive and active today. To each of this legion of decrepit old
geezers, I hereby present the gift of a cane of quickening. While
bearing the handy property of allowing one to move normally even with
one broken leg, they are most prized for their use as a thwapping
instrument against uppity young whipper-snappers. Happy Birthdays!

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Arios, in the year 135 MA.
