Terrible news

It is my heavy burden to inform you that my friend, Vlar, died last
night.

Known then as Dekkeret, he was one of Aetolia's first players. When I
read his celani application, I knew immediately that this was someone I
wanted to work with. I wasn't wrong. Since then, Vlar became a coder for
us and has been instrumental time and time again in the changes you've
seen in Aetolia over the years. Vlar's generosity of time, energy, and
spirit was well-known to mortals and immortals both - countless of whom
he helped in the relatively brief time he was with us.

Please forgive the sloppiness of this message, as I admit I'm typing
through tears in my eyes. I'm going to open a news board called simply,
"Vlar." Please feel free to post memories, feelings, or whatever you
feel is appropriate about our lost friend. I will send these
remembrances to his family.

We'll miss you, Charlie.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Niuran, in the year 130 MA.
