We know everyone has been waiting patiently throughout the month of July
waiting to find out the items available during the artifact auction.
Well, not only do we have the full list for you now, stocked primarily
with brand new, unique artifacts, we've also got a special announcement
that should excite everyone. We will be extending the 30% credit sale
all throughout the month of August! To reiterate, credit purchases
throughout the entire month of August will grant a bonus of 30%, so a
purchase of 1000 credits will net a total of 1300 credits for your
character. This is the biggest sale we have ever held, and probably will
ever have for some time, so take advantage now!

The Artifact Auction will begin on the 12th of Slyphian, 251 MA. This is
the Howling between this coming Saturday and Sunday. The Auction will
last for one week, ending on the 5th of Khepary, 252 MA, which
corresponds to the Howling a week from this Saturday.

This auction will include two tiers of items, the first of which will be
sold for credits and include a number of unique items, and the second of
which will be sold for gold and include a range of popular artifacts.
There are a total of 15 artifacts that will be sold for credits and five
sold for gold, with items that will be desirable to almost anyone.

The artifacts that will be auctioned for credits are as follows:

A venom rag
-This specially absorbent rag has been soaked through with various
venoms, and will allow the user to apply an unlimited number of
applications of any venom that can normally be envenomed to their
weapons.

The Rod of Dispersion
-Powerful magic within the Rod of Dispersion will allow the user to
cause everyone within the room with him to be cast randomly about the
realm instantly. This powerful effect can only be used once per Aetolian
month.

Quel'zar's Pawn
-Quel'zar's Pawn is a special item that is tied directly to a user's
essence. It can be placed in any location by the owner and only removed
by the owner. When the Pawn's owner dies under any circumstances (final
death, not starbursting or soulcage, etc), they will be instantly
revived and transported to the location of the Pawn.

The Elindes Talisman
-The Elindes Talisman is a floral talisman that has six organic petals
that regrow at the turn of every year. These petals may be plucked by
the owner and, when eaten, will instantly recover all health, mana,
willpower, and endurance. The petals do not keep and cannot be stored.

A ring of Elemental Mastery
-This single ring combines a range of elemental powers, and can be used
to cast the icewall, firewall, and firelash enchantments, and also
provides resistance to all forms of elemental damage.

Izu-Ari's Dice
-These unique dice can be rolled once per month and will provide a range
of stat-improving effects to the user depending upon the number rolled.
They can otherwise be used as normal dice. The range of effects will be
posted in a separate post but will be similar to the positive effects
provided by the Constellations in various combinations.

A sanctimonious vestment
-This holy vestment will prevent the death of the wearer from causing
any essence loss to a Divinity they follow, and will also double the
efficiency of corpses used to sanctify and defile shrines.

A priestly cassock
-These cassocks will provide the user with the coveted ability of the
Priest to grant various spiritshields to others.

An eldritch mask
-When this mask is worn, the user may scream in an eldritch tongue that
will cause fear in all those around him.

A scholar's omnibus
-A unique investment, the omnibus will allow the user to learn any
Talents released in the future for free. Perhaps the only artifact with
a potentially unlimited rate of return!

The Resolute Hammer
-This hammer replicates the effect of a mushroom sigil, but will never
run out of charges. Any item that could normally be destroyed by the use
of a mushroom sigil can be destroyed with the Resolute Hammer.

A dominion crystal
-The dominion crystal mimics the behavior of a Master Crystal, and can
be used to refine crystals for one's own needs without needing to return
to a Master Crystal for folding and refining.

A masterwork tool
-The masterwork tool provides the effects of all of the tradeskill boon
artifact powers in one item.

A hoarder's vault
-The hoarder's vault can be used as a personal bank by the owner from
anywhere.

Intaglio of Artos
-The Intaglio of Artos allows the user to change their enter and exit
descriptions once per month (the descriptions must be approved by a
Divinity through a built-in system).


The artifacts being auctioned for gold are as follows:

A spirit anchor
-Cuts the time to recover from death by 50%

A clarion eyeglass
-Improved Farsight to include the room the target is in regardless of
distance

A crystal divining skull
-Improves upon the Deathsight skill by informing the user of the
location of death throughout the realm

Entwined Lockets
-Sold in a pair, these lockets can be touched to one another. The users
may then travel to one another provided they are on the same continent.

A vibrating stick
-The vibrating stick allows the user to make use of wormholes to travel
across the continent.
