Recent upticks in deep-sea weather phenomena have driven many Nazetu pirate vessels closer to Sapience's shores, leading to more sunken ships and stolen cargo. Were it but a few one-offs, Esterport's naval units would swiftly snuff out these outlaws' hopes with brutal efficiency. At this point, however, reports continue to pour in from docks and coasts across our fair continent, with sailors returning from voyages rife with attempts to board or batter their vessels.

After much deliberation with Zhamakela Ermoki, Magistrate of Esterport, we hereby approve allowing any able-bodied Sapient resident to enlist as a privateer.

Those with experience sailing or fighting are encouraged to do so with haste.

Any adventurer interested in our first naval outing should report to the docks right after Sheine's next howl.

Additionally, sightings of Tynar 'Emerald Tyrant' Osury and his first mate, Puddles, have begun to crop up. The last credible account of this pair places them aboard a vessel that sank off the coast of Sapience after departing the Crimson Coast with one of Esterport's vessels in chase.
