More Details
Scoring:
2v2 format
Winning duo get 2 points each
Losing duo get 0 points each
In case of Draw, all surviving contestants get 1 point each
Both members of the opposite team must die for it to count as a loss, if not the fight counts as a draw. (Death just means one death - there is no need to force true-death. Just like in arena, once you 'die' once, you're out! If you have starburst triggered in an open world fight, please remove yourself from the battle.)
Each team can only fight each other team once for scoring as the fights shall be in a round robin format. The fight MUST be declared to count (i.e. you can practice with each other before officially fighting etc). Fights can be overwritten/re-done IF both teams mutually agree to re-do them.
Fight locations:
Default location is in any arena of your choosing.
If BOTH teams agree to open world fight, then I'll allow it, but once you agree on a fighting area, you have to stay in that area until the end (so no running into the clouds or caves or anywhere else to escape to reset shenanigans!). The first person who leaves the area before the duel is concluded will be deemed to have forfeited (In the case of an unfortunate soul-link lapse, then I trust both teams to becivil about how to judge this and perhaps allow for a restart of the fight).
*Technically this means you can "knock-out" an opponent with a well timed/placed forced shove or similar ability.... but obviously if your team's strategy is focused on this, you'll get called out so please play nice!
**Please exercise common sense when picking your battle locations and avoid areas sensitive to Cities!
Prizes:
1st place duo: 100 credits each
2nd place duo: 50 credits each
3rd place duo: 25 credits each
Time period:
//Registration ends on 31 Jul 2026 0:00hrs GMT
The final date for scoring tabulations shall be made known once the event starts, as it will depend on how many participants there are.
How to register:
Please send Grimgix a message with the members of your team (yourself included) and your team name if any!
If you would like to enter but do not have a partner, please send me (Grimgix) a message as such and I shall assign all solo participants a partner by the end of the registration period.
Depending on sign ups, I may allow for mixed teams and score people both on individual basis AND team basis. Feel free to switch classes around from fight to fight, whatever may suit your team! There are no restrictions on who you can partner with, and I'll leave it up to you to decide on who you pair up with.
How to log wins and losses:
Please send a message to Grimgix in the following format:
DDR fight: [Team1] vs [Team2] : Team1 win Team2 loss ; Log link (optional): xxxxx
e.g.:
DDR fight: Team Grimgix&Varian vs Team Bamathis&Slyphe: Team Bamathis&Slyphe win Team Grimgix&Varian loss; Log link: xxxx
If there are discrepancies in the results/logs of fights, I will verify against logs provided or just void the whole fight, depending on the situation.
When can we start?!:
To be confirmed once enough parties have registered!
For more rules etc, please refer to CLHELP DDR GROUND RULES in the Deadly Dealings Clan files!
If you have any questions on this matter, please feel free to reach out to me (Grimgix) and I'll be happy to help out!
Happy fighting!
Penned by my hand on Gosday, the 14th of Chakros, in the year 20 AC.
