I write this as formal statement. The Heartwood does not abide to your goading attempts at 'restitution.' We speak with the clarity of our truth: we held neutral grounds, you struck, we struck back. The lives lost in the simple affair of contested lands is just that. Lost. To demand any further reveals how great of leeches you are.

the Vernal Prince, the Shadow Gorer, the regal mate of
the Queenly Doe--Kaarn--reminds us to do.

We refuse you, and so we DEFY you.

To HER MANY FACES, we plead in witness: to the Six who we offer our obedience; to the Eight whose wisdom we need from the distant lands of Albedos; to all others who wander unknown to us and whose lessons we embrace.
