Audacity

Faithful of Morale,
The City of Spinesreach,

There is a particular sort of arrogance that accompanies familiarity. A thing is seen often enough, tolerated long enough, and eventually its boundaries begin to look less like borders and more like suggestions.

This appears to be the mistake you have made.

You entered Her Tiyen Esityi and left your marks within it, as though the territory of the Lady of Corruption were merely another patch of soil upon which to plant your own symbolism. Whether this was done through carelessness, confidence, or simple entitlement is ultimately irrelevant. The result remains the same.

You forgot where you stood.

That is the danger of comfort. It convinces people that consequences are distant things, reserved for grand offences and dramatic acts. Rarely is it so. More often, consequence arrives because someone believed a line no longer mattered.

Yours did.

What interests me most is not the act itself, but the assumption behind it. The quiet belief that the territory of another Divine could be altered, marked, and claimed without response. That those devoted to Her would simply observe and accept the intrusion. That the Spiral would cease its turning because it proved inconvenient.

An odd conclusion.

Especially from those who claim to understand perseverance.

You speak often of endurance. Of carrying on through hardship. Of standing firm in the face of adversity. Admirable qualities, in their place. Soon, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate them.

On the 7th of Lleian, at the time of Howling, Her Faithful will meet you there.

Come defend what was done.

Come stand beside the marks you left behind.

Come prove that your convictions extend beyond paint, stone, and proclamation.

Or do not.

Either way, the Spiral turns.

Her Malice,
Ivonia Ilalith
