It amuses me that a Void seeker would speak of nothing as if it is worthless. Is it not you of all who should understand?

Strife is not meaning, no. Purpose is dead, and our Creator has fled. Strife is what is left when meaning is absent. It is the struggle we face when what we knew is gone - when what we had is lost.

But in so being, it is a pathway - for when we are reduced to nothing, we have the potential to become anything and everything. A faith destroyed is a faith that no longer constrains. A king lost is a throne empty, waiting to be claimed.

When you are stripped down to your core and your only companion is a blade, every avenue available to you unlocks. You see everything clearly for the first time. What bars the way dissolves.

It is will that carries you forward. But you best remember that it is Strife that clears the way.

Nothing worthwhile has ever been achieved without struggle.
