Adventurers,

Though the Guiding Light Council appreciates your enthusiasm for astronomy and the vaunted art of Ostension, we must voice our consternation and full rejection of these simplistic attempts at naming the astral formations yet unnamed. Those stars that exert wise gravity upon those that trek 'neath their sideral glory must find their own names in their own time.

A constellation's name is born neither of vanity nor whim; gaze upon their star formations and look instead to ancient legends or mythical moments of the prior era to find a true name for these constellations - or else blaze bright and hope your exploits are worthy of their spatial alignments. The magic of the Mejevsavelnel is a highly particular array, as enigmatic as it is prestigious, and thus constellar formations only come into their own power if they have a suitably powerful mythical force associated with it.

One cannot simply will a constellation to gain ostensive properties, and to name it improperly is to doom it to cosmic emasculation.

If you wish to aid in discovering the formation's name, the council invites would-be astronomers and skilled siderealists alike to gaze upon the constellations via a telescope or other magical means - this will likely turn your minds towards appropriate monikers.
