My Entertainment

Esteemed clods of the new age,
I grow so weary of your violent overtures and your constant, grating screeches within my sanctum throughout all hours of the day. Just this week, in fact, I noticed hundreds of soldiers milling about the vast expanse beyond my realm's gates, and came to the conclusion that something must be done about it.
Thus, I propose a mutually beneficial arrangement: rather than this senseless, pointless brutality you levy at me every waking moment of your miserable lives, I insist instead that you levy it at one another.
In a few weeks time, roughly at sunrise upon the 25th of Severin, I shall set aside the Seydan occupants of once-lost Vimuna and open its borders to all of you as an arena heretoforth unseen - and then those willing shall duel for the realm's entertainment!
The winner, of course, shall receive a glorious prize: one of my original prototypes, produced during my long and arduous journey to perfect the 'stasis' enchantment now used throughout Sapience by all manner of enchanters! This prototype possesses particular properties that set it apart from a commonplace one, as its magics are made of far more advanced stuff than the dribble that Mournhold now peddles.
Do try to put on a good show, adventurers, and work out all that aggression so as to give my vast wellspring of patience time to replenish.
May your splattered blood be made as murals,
The Curator
