Greetings everyone,

First Id like to thank Pendragon for his post and his efforts of making
the first Official Riddle Contest happen. Despite the fact that we
sprung the contest on everyone, there was great interest in those who
actually took part and those who just watched

The contest consisted of three parts. The first part was a preliminary
round. Those who had the highest score advanced automatically to the
third round. The second part was those left in the first round. Those
who had the highest cumulative scores from the first and second rounds
advanced to the third round. In the first half of the third part, those
who had the overall highest scores won. If there were ties, then the
second half of the third part were tie-breaker riddles. If the
tie-breaker riddles werent answered then whoever placed split the prize.

This was again a spur of the moment contest and I believe everyone had a
good time playing. There were a lot of good riddles and some very old
ones. I would like to have another riddle contest at a future date. Ill
leave it far enough in advance so those who are interested has time to
accumulate some good riddles.


-All answers are sent via tells to the RiddleMaster/Mistress
-Any answer said aloud before time is disqualified
-All riddles (time it takes to say the riddle and the answers) are timed
-Time speeds up as each round advances
-Those who advance past the second round can offer riddles but their
answers are not counted.
-Everyone can tell a riddle
-All bonus rounds are told by the RiddleMaster/Mistress
-During tie-breaker rounds, second place players will be the first to
answer their riddles. The ONE who gets
the first point will move up to the first place and have a chance of
stealing it from the tie-breaking first place contestants. (NEW!!!)

Point Value System:

Correct Answers (sent via tells) 1 pt.
Stumpers (riddles no one was able to answer) 1pt to the riddler
Tie-Breakers 1 pt.
Bonus Round 10 pts
