Well done to all of the cities for their attempts in the city riddles competition!

First place: Enorian - 10/10
Second place: Duiran - 9/10
Third place: Spinesreach - 8/10
Fourth place: Bloodloch - 7/10

Below you will find all of the riddles and their answers:

"Where a Cogger and a Thinking Engine performed Matrix Alignment, bringing both truth and uncertainty to members of Sapience."

Copperhead's antics at the Kalchos Thinking Engine deep within the Manufactory of Dia'varr happened here, when he connected directly to the Kalchos centrifuge - At a complex terminal (v77222). Don't get mixed up with a certain numerologist's nickname being 'Cogger', that's an unintentional misdirection!

"The guardhouse where it all began for a pair of Impish warriors - watch your head!"

Anyone familiar with training the Impire's warriors would know this one, the place where it all began for Dadi and Sulu of Sehal - A cramped guardhouse beside the palace (v80536).

"Yggdrasil's remains served as potent soil for these two arboreal behemoths; one has died while another bonds with the land."

During the Creator's Monomachy, two gargantuan trees grew at the site of Yggdrasil - one of Varian which is dead or dying, one of the Eschaton which lives - The centre of Yggdrasils' hollow (v2898)).

"A mountaintop's court shall never be the same, for two thrones lie in pieces and many of the rest lack their Immortal counterparts."

Though seldom used in the Midnight Age by the Gods, this place is now a shadow of what it once was - The Court of the Gods (v73549).

"A now-slimy-hatchery of destruction wrought, where the Theocracy and a Chaos-ascendant called out to Fundamental Chaos."

Though there is much destruction to be found in Mournhold, which played home to Spinesreach and Varach Scolrys' workings with Chaos, only one location plays host to a rather slimy, foul egg of dubious lineage - Where chaos wrought destruction (v46346).

"A Hunter and His Council came together here to salvage what was destroyed, broken, bombed; a verdant child flourished under the guidance of guardians and offerings of mortals until it was an elder of red and silver."

The Bloodwood, the site of destruction and carnage by a number of forces, now lies mostly empty save for one vast redwood at its very center - Before a colossal tree (v57583).

"Upon a cliff below where a Twin sobbed in anguish, flanked by the Hammer's Akkari as He struck a massive bell; when dawn rose in the east, it did so with a rosy glow and dozens upon dozens of lidless cobalt eyes."

Perhaps the most difficult of all of the riddles, this of course referred to Damariel's pleas as He struck the massive bell in the Siroccians that Ethne had crafted to call forth Dejaani. While the bell was large enough to span many rooms, only a few were actual cliffs and I was looking for the cliffs just outside of Ethne's Forge - Southern cliff edge (v3009).

"Before a maw of gaping darkness, a Progenitor and His disciples looked on; decay, rot, and spoiled festering possessed no true consciousness, yet still divinity inside a new creation did reside."

The creation of Zyrialith was a work done within the Lich Scriptorium, the maw of gaping darkness residing at - The Abyssal Crucible (v77001).

"Sentenced to pay for his crimes in ages past and present by an Old Witch of the Wood, his prison now abides 'neath the gaze of Renewal's stony form."

Morvaethe's prison, arrested forevermore in static sorcery, resides within Vimuna beneath a statue of Lleis at - The end of a charm-laden pathway (v81761).

"Amid tides and scrubland a table doth rise, where war-bound participants negotiated tenuous peace that lasts even to this day."

The proverbial 'neutral ground' for the warring factions of the Ophidian Empire and the Mitrine, this island bearing a literal stone table served as the place for the negotiations - A tabled island (v65504).

Penned by my hand on Closday, the 15th of Chakros, in the year 14 AC.
