I know that many of you have been unhappy with the pace of development
and events in Aetolia. I agree with you, and I take full responsibility
for it. In addition, I realize that I have had a poor track record of
responding in a timely manner to requests and questions both by e-mail
and message. These things are unacceptable to me, and personal pressures
are not an adequate excuse. I apologize humbly and fervently for them.

Tomorrow morning, my six month-old daughter will be undergoing major
surgery. Unfortunately, this means that I'll be largely unavailable for
anywhere from a few days to a week while she recovers in the hospital.

After that, I pledge to begin changing your impressions of Aetolia for
the better, and transform it into the world I think we all know it can
be. I have made changes to my personal life to make this happen, and my
commitment is total. It's important to me that you know that Aetolia is
the consuming passion of my life, and I am eager for the chance to prove
this to each one of you.
