13.15 Denizen Combat

Player vs. Denizen Combat

When you wish to fight a denizen, you may, generally, initiate combat with it simply by finding it and attacking it with whatever ability you choose to use. However, most abilities are generally designed for player combat in mind, and less so for denizens.

Typing HUNTING SKILLS will give you a quick list of what abilities can -target- denizens, but it doesn't include passive abilities like damage resistance that will work in denizen combat too.

The reason for this requires some understanding of how player vs. player combat works, but for now suffice it to say that the complexity of having denizens deal with all the potential avenues of attack from a player would be prohibitively complicated.
