Siderealist Changes
Hi folks,
We’ve had Siderealist out for a while now, however it never quite lived up to the game play that I envisioned. In particular, Tones encouraged just using normal forged weaponry for most attacks to push its routes, which made it feel like just another weapon class rather than standing out as its own thing with its own themes.
As such, I’ve now removed Tones and moved some of it into Ostension as active abilities. Under the old game play with Tones, you didn’t really need to use Replicate that much, but the intention originally was to make it a core ability for the class, so if you find yourself struggling make sure you’re using it as that is where the focus will be going forward.
That said the changes can be found below, along with a few other tweaks for other classes here and there.
Afflictions
===========================
– The ‘recklessness’ affliction now obscures how much you’re bleeding.
– The ‘blackout’ affliction no longer obscures how much you’re bleeding.
– You can no longer use any skill with a cooldown while affected by ‘blackout’.
* Does not affect items with cooldowns.
– The ‘indifference’ affliction no longer stops you from moving parry.
Astranomia
===========================
– Ekpyrosis now gives you immunity to instant kills, but not damage.
* Only instant kills from adventurers count.
– Alteration no longer requires cosmic balance.
– Replicate no longer requires cosmic balance.
Ostension
===========================
– New Skill: Edamil.
* Has the powers Trickster, Pinch, Gravitas.
– New Skill: Melot.
* Has the powers Axe, Merciless, Undercut.
– New Power: Loskiou Hymn.
– New Power: Vayua Starlit.
– New Power: Gulbedim Murk.
– New Power: Averroes Tap.
– New Power: EjaKodosa Pain.
– Renamed Power: Gulbedim Hex to Hextouch.
– Hextouch now causes two hidden afflictions at random.
* Can cause confusion, weariness, superstition, vomiting, recklessness, epilepsy, paresis, anorexia.
* This is the same list as the Plague vibration.
– Artos Diagnose now has no equilibrium cost when used on others.
– Artos Wounds now has no equilibrium cost when used on others.
– Drobia Unleash now destroys magical shields and prismatic barriers when used.
Crystalism

– Removed Skill: Tones.
– Removed Skill: Synchronise.
– Palpitate now doubles its damage if the target has paralysis.
Bladefire / Chirography
===========================
– Crescent / Lawid damage penalty for one-handed weapons increased to 25%, up from 20%.
– Hemorrhage no longer adds 15 bleeding by default.
– Hemorrhage now adds 5 bleeding per bruise the target has.
Psionics / Egotism
===========================
– Deprival / Boast now gives claustrophobia and agoraphobia instead.
Tenacity
===========================
– Punish is now a single axe attack.
