It’s an Iron Realms Celesmas
The fabric of reality between universes has thinned thanks to Varian tearing it open, and presents from other Iron Realms are unexpectedly finding their way into Aetolia! This has left Ironbeard in a state of consternation, because obviously if you’re receiving presents, you have to give presents in return. And between being drunk, filling stockings, being kidnapped by his brother, and yelling at Junior, our poor gift-giving Dwarf already has his hands full! That’s where you come in to give him assistance!
Throughout the month of December, the Iron Realms Celesmas event will let you send anonymous gifts and custom festive messages to players not only here in our own realms, but across all participating Iron Realms games. Wrap up something generous, or slip in something a little more nefarious – yes, you can send monsters – and help spread chaos or kindness!
Presents are delivered in waves roughly once every hour, so keep an eye out, you never know when something strange (or suspiciously well-wrapped) might land in your hands.
As you all send gifts, you will fill a global cheer meter. Every present nudges it higher, and when it finally hits 100 percent, Flintbeard will stir from his lair to quash out the celebrations. Show him the true measure of a festive spirit and you’ll have a chance to find some special Flintbeard-only prizes!
Present senders will also earn special milestone rewards as they help Ironbeard with his deliveries, receiving special prizes when they reach 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 presents sent. There’s also a collection system to catalogue the unique Celesmas items you encounter, and earn bound credits for each new discovery!
Every present you send also grants you a ticket in a special Celesmas lottery. At the end of the event, three lucky winners will receive credit prizes:
– 1st prize: 1000 credits
– 2nd prize: 500 credits
– 3rd prize: 250 credits
Everyone who sends a gift becomes eligible to receive gifts as well, so the more people who take part, the more Celesmas cheer will be flying around the worlds.
