Dear Bhalwyn and Aolin,
Once again, I find myself compelled to address a matter that weighs heavily upon my conscience. It pertains to a certain demeanor that both I and others have observed in both of you, one that I fear may be detrimental not only to yourselves but to the wilds as a whole.
I speak of the self-righteous snobbery that seems to permeate your interactions, causing you to carry yourselves with an air of superiority that is both unbecoming and, dare I say, damaging. It pains me to witness your noses turned so far up that you seem unable to see the ground beneath your feet, let alone the world around you.
Please understand that not everyone in the Council shares the high regard in which you hold yourselves. There are those among us who see beyond your facade of righteousness and recognize the limitations of your understanding. The Cycle is vast and intricate, far beyond the grasp of any single individual or pair.
I implore you to consider the diversity of perspectives within this world. While you may cling stubbornly to your own beliefs, there are others who strive to see the potential in the world as a whole, unbound by narrow-minded exclusions. Life, Death, Renewal; they are not confined to the forests alone, but are woven into the fabric of existence itself.
My own journey has led me elsewhere, but I do not claim superiority for having trodden a different path. Each of us walks our own journey, facing our own challenges and discovering our own truths. I implore each day everyone to be an individual, to strive to do what is right. This is my King's charge, this is the purpose one seeks until their inevitable end.
No person should tread my path, they should always tread their own. A narrative that I am attempting to subvert the Cycle, only permeates in a fear that you have created yourself. Not one person has been asked to depart for greener pastures, to do so would be uncouth and unbecoming. Let people make their own choices and paths, but let us not judge others for the paths they choose, but instead, seek to understand and learn from one another.
In closing, I urge you to reflect on your actions and attitudes, and consider how they may be impacting those around you. The Council is a place for collaboration and mutual respect, not for self-aggrandizement and narrow-mindedness. Let us strive to embrace the diversity of perspectives within our community, for only then can we hope to truly understand the nature of Balance.
With sincerity, Until my Inevitable End,
Arbiter Ulo
