I'm sorry to have to do this, but a series of misfortunes have left me with nothing else to turn to but public charity.

I was in a car accident last year. It messed my back up pretty bad, messed my car up worse. Then, earlier this year, my fiance left me and kicked me out of our house. Most recently, I had to move for the fourth time in a year (from bachelor pad to my home with my ex, once out of there to a friend's couch, from there to my old bachelor pad, and from bachelor pad to my current address last week, when the old place was condemned).

This has been a massive strain on my finances, but it was survivable. But now, I'm in trouble.

I was in a hit-and-run incident yesterday morning. My back hurts worse than anything else has ever hurt me, and the move depleted my savings. They have the plate of the driver who struck me, and got an address and acknowledgment that he was legally insured, but no information beyond that.

I hired a lawyer, who is working based off of compensation and who scheduled an appointment with a chiropractor. Both he and the police agree, it will take time.

Unfortunately, time is not something I have much of, at the moment. The move depleted my savings, and I can't afford the deductible to have my car repaired on my insurance. Worse, my car is my livelihood, and with it out of commission, I can't work. I need help to pay my bills.
